What are Ramp Operations?

Ramp Operations covers the work that happens around an aircraft while it is on the ground. This area is also commonly referred to as ground operations, ground handling, ramp handling or under-wing operations.

From baggage loading and aircraft turnaround to ramp safety, pushback, refuelling, de-icing and dispatch support, ramp teams help keep flights moving safely and on time.
